Good moving story, very topical in its topic. Well executed story line and interweaving of plots with good twists. Highly recommended, a modern heroine with a contiunous revelations of a past.
I love Jassy's writing style. She keeps the novel moving and has enough twists to have you guessing about the outcome. Jade de Jong is a interesting character that is well developed in the mind of the reader. The setting in South Africa provides a exotic setting for Jade's adventures. I would recommend this series of books!
This gritty mystery is hard-to-read about disgusting people and their nasty habits. Yet, you keep reading to see how Jade de Jonge brings justice to the innocent victims.
Multi-layered plot and character line-up make this a cleverly disguised who-dunnit. Some graphic violence, but a tense thriller type mystery that holds the reader's attention.
Fast paced, action filled noir novel. Jade is a wonderful complex character living by a code of honor that suits her time and place. I hope that she has a long and adventurous career and I look forward to reading about her in the future.
The author succeeds in constructing an intrigue and surprising story line with some well developed characters. There are, however, two weaknesses there is too much unnecessary violence and Jade takes too many foolish risks which require incredible good luck for her to survive.
Great read, fantastic plot, fast paced. Couldn't have asked for a better sequel. Look forward to reading the next one.
